  • Thanks so much Kristen for the book & podcast recommendations you list in your show notes. I know you said for the past couple of times you haven’t had many comments so I wanted to send you one. I love to sew, knit & cross-stitch. Mostly small quilt projects, and knit washcloths, and one ongoing cross stich project. Trying to start a machine embroidery project too. I’m going to try the Connie Reit you tube channel today while cleaning, and maybe start the Quilter’s Apprentice book on audio. Your sunshine and shadows scrap quilt is beautiful. Maybe you have mixed fillings due to the use of brighter colors and the variation.

Recently returned from a trip to Idaho visiting my son who is working for Idaho Fish & Game. Would love to start living a more intentional, slower paced life. Will be 57 this year and my part time job is much more part time, so looking forward to using my new “free” time more wisely.

Glad you continue the podcast, and I’m sure there are many that appreciate your work.

  • I look so forward to listening to your podcasts, I usually listen while walking. Thanks for all the links you post I usually check in on most if them. I lost my quilting mojo this past winter and picked up knitting again as my past time. Mainly hats and scarfs for charity. Now that the gardening season is almost here in WI that will keep me busy too. Thanks for all you do for us listeners I appreciate you taking time to make the podcasts. Linda J
