In this episode, I chat about a new quilt I’m excited about, my on-again-off-again knitting obsession, a fun pottery kit, lots of books, and how to organize your finances in a binder.

The Simple Handmade Everyday theme song was written and performed by Jonah Esser. Thanks Jonah!
I really appreciated your comments on a binder for “just in case something happens to us/me.” It is something I have been thinking about for sometime after loosing my husband a year ago. With him gone, I no longer can rely on him picking up essential or time critical tasks, so I need to make sure my kids can take over if I get sick, break both hands, or worse. This is not morbid, but an act of love towards your kids. I would love to find materials on what such a folder should include. So any time I hear something along those lines, my ears perk up. Thanks again for an enjoyable podcast.
You have the best podcast voice ever! I feel like I am visiting a good friend everytime I tune in. I am on book 6 of The Clifton Chronicles due to your reccomendation! What a great series.
I just listened to your podcast, then A Quilting Life podcast where you were the guest. It was like visiting with two friends! I love your color wave quilt and I found where I can find the pattern, but am wondering where I could buy charm packs that would give me that same look. Any suggestions?
And if you liked Giver of Stars read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek. I loved that one even more!
I have started listening to your podcast today after hearing you talk on A Quilting Life Podcast. I had to listen right away while out on errands to your 2 most recent podcasts. I was intrigued to listen because you mentioned you listen to Frances ORoark Dowell’s podcasts, which were the two first podcasts I listened to. The stories and the Off Kilter Quilter. I am a quilter, a want to be knitter, and crafter of a lot. I have a list of fiction and quilt books you have mentioned started and think I have quite a few hours of interesting info filled podcasts to listen to. Also just signed up for your Facebook group. Thanks for something worth listening to.
