In the Book Club pattern, we have several blocks that require sewing curves. It’s not difficult, but there is a technique to it. And the technique is exactly the same whether you are sewing by hand or machine.
Here are our next three curvy blocks. I love them!
In addition to the written instructions on how to sew curves (pg. 5 of the Book Club pattern), I’ve created a video to show you the technique. I use the Emma block (aka Flowering Snowball) as an example, but the technique is the same for any curve.
Patty has a great tutorial and a special tip over at Elm Street Quilts. Be sure to check it out!
Good luck and I can’t wait to see your curved block!
