In this episode of the Coronavirus Chronicles, I chat about mask making, adjusting to the new living situation, some TV and movie recommendations, and getting reinspired as a homemaker.

Thanks for the podcast-it was good to hear from you. I made about 20 masks for family & my daughter’s home health department. I loved the idea of helping but I agree it’s a sad task. I might have to make a few more for my nurse sister in law but then I’m done unless I get a request from someone. I’m working on hand pieced Qal and took up embroidery on some dish towels. Keep up on the podcasting. I enjoy hearing about your projects & life in general. We had 8” of snow yesterday which was a little depressing. But we’re safe & healthy so I’m thankful for that. Take care.
I’m so happy I found your podcast a few months ago. You are so relatable and easy to listening to! I really enjoy the different topics that you talk about! I’m a quilter so I always listen to you while I’m sewing. I have just been doing small projects like runners and bags. I did make about 22 masks for my local hospital with the elastic I did have on hand. I have made some for my 3 grandkids and my daughter. I live in River Falls, WI and our governor just extended the stay at home until May 24. So 8 will be doing more sewing, I’m so thankful I have my hobbies to keep me busy. I am retired So have been used to staying home, but I do miss going shopping and getting together with family and friends.
Thanks so much again for the wonderful show! Stay well!

Hello,
I really enjoyed your video on making face masks. I have a question. Where did you get the pattern from? Also, I have subscribed to your YouTube account. I’m starting to make quilts. My grandmother made them for us and now I’m making them for my family.
