Simple. Handmade. Everyday. Podcast Episode 45 Show Notes

In this episode, I chat about the weird times we are living in, not much quilting, but lots of movie and book recommendations, and setting goals during a pandemic.

  • Loved the podcast. CBS All Access is free courtesy of Patrick Stewart, who is also reading a Shakespeare sonnet each day on his Facebook page. I LOVED Picard, wait until the end, you will cry. I’m trying to read along to the sew along, but just can’t do Jane Eyre now, will read it later! I’ve been doing a lot of handwork, too, between this year and last years Hand Oueced Quiltalong, and my temperature quilt. I like being in the same room as my family. Stay safe! I used to read the New York Times each day and it was making me nuts, so I only watch the news when my husband watches all night. And getting out for a walk every day really helps!

  • I felt exactly the same way about making face masks.!I was overwhelmed about which was the better pattern and do they really help, would they they really be used, etc. Then Tuesday a neighbor , who works at a local hospital, asked if I would make some for her and co-workers. That’s what I needed to get me started!
Love listening to your podcast while working on the masks. Have also been listening to Marie Bostwick.
    Stay healthy!
