I’m so glad I discovered your podcast–Happy anniversary! I love the clips that I use to hold my binding in place while I hand sew the binding.
I’m learning to love all things handwork after years of quilting by machine. I’m so happy to have found craftoptics glasses which allow me to see my work better than if I had young eyes. So, handwork and craftoptics are my new favorite things.
A few of my favorite things are: beautiful fabrics, good scissors, books historical fiction, good ruler, threads and a needle.

My aurifil thread is my bestie!!!
My favorite thing is my rotary cutter. I am new to quilting and sewing and I get nervous about making a mistake when measuring and cutting. Once I decide that I have the ruler im the right place I love making that straight cut with the rotary cutter and having my perfectly smooth edge on my fabric.
I love beautiful fabrics, my olfa scissors and my little six inch ruler.
Sewing has been a life saver for me through the years. You are my best inspiration. Thank you!!!
I love my small quilting group. It’s a small quilt shop that offers a variety of classes. We also have open sew days where you can quilt with friends. No one else in my family has any interest in sewing or quilting so I love being with people of like mind.
My favorite sewing tool is the needle. Just fits right in with Hand Pieced, doesn’t it?
My favorite thing about quilting is the friends I’ve made. Both in person and virtual. Quilters truly are the best kind of people!

Thanks for all that you do, I really enjoyed your I trviee on Just Wanna Quilt.
Hi Kristen, I enjoyed the latest episode. Like you, I am inspired by modern quilts, but have no art background. A couple of years ago I watched Weeks Ringle’s Craftsy Class on designing Modern Quilts, which gave me great insight into the principles of design and use of color – just an idea if you are looking for a thoughtful lecture series – there are a few exercises, but it is a process rather than product class. I now have some clue at least about the art design process. Good luck with finding your new purse. ( I already have that book, so please don’t include me in the giveaway.) THanks for podcasting!
My all time favorite thing related to quilting is my sterling silver fitted thimble by TJ Lane! I cannot quilt without it.
Quilty wise I’m loving my sewing machine – it gave me some trouble and I thought I’d have to replace it, but a great technician found the problem and it’s smooth sailing again. I also enjoy your podcast and am a very new follower, your voice is very pleasant and the varied topics keep it interesting. Congrats on your anniversary!
I have several favorite things but one that I cant live without is coffee ! A cup of Coffee gives me company when I am making things using my hands to knit, crochet or quilt. Morning or night- coffee is always welcome in my house !

My favorite thing right now is my new craft optics. I can cross stitch again!

Love your podcasts! Happy Anniversary! New at quilting and knitting, reading, quilting are my favorite things to do. Love my sewing machine, aurofill threads, and Tucker rulers and am taking classes in how to use them through local quilt shop. On purses, I hear you, and have found a boutique in my current town of Irwin Pa. and sells purses that are wonderfully functional, stylish, hold up year after year and affordable. Two brands I purchased are T-shirt and Jeans, and Simply Noelle. So nice to help support local economy too!
My favorite thing is to be able to sit and do some handwork (most recently hand piecing!) and listen to a book or podcast with a cup of tea and a cookie or biscotti nearby while my children happily entertain themselves (a girl can wish right!)

I actually have six favorite things: new curtains on six of my windows! We finally replaced our 23 year old sheers and valances with linen panels from Ikea. They let in so much light, and I love them!
I also want to say I thoroughly enjoy your podcast and look forward to its arrival every two weeks. I find your chats encouraging and inspiring. Thank you, Kristin!
I love the sunlight coming through the windows in my sewing room, Aurifil thread, sharp rotary blades and scissors! Also really enjoy listening to your podcast while I sew. Thank you!
A few favorite sewing items of mine are first of all my Little black Featherweight Sewing machine, it’s a beauty. The next two are my stiletto and my block lock ruler. These are a few things that make quilting a joy. Thanks for the give away and your pod casts are great to listen to, I’ve learned a lot.
Love my aurifil thread!!
I love Aurifil thread, I have tried about every thread on the market before I discovered Aurifil!
Love improv quilting. Squeeze in some sewing during baby nap times!
I would be LOST without my tiny embroidery scissors! They are my snips, seam ripper, stiletto and occasional tweezer. Obsessed, I tell you. Obsessed.

There are so many things I love about sewing, but most important is the sewing community. It is wonderful to read your blog for tips to improve my stitching, to check Instagram for inspiration, and to find tutorials on YouTube! This community of talented quilters is the best!

Congratulations on your podcast anniversary. My favorite thing is my vintage sewing machines, my 4×8 ruler and my sharp small scissors.
I have several favorites, but what I use all the time are my cutting mats that turn. I have two sizes. Next it would be my iPad to listen to Podcasts and watch quilting videos. Thanks for the opportunity to win these wonderful prizes.
My most favorite thing is my sisters who share my love of quilting! They inspire me! Happy Anniversary!
One of my favorite things…. too many to count! Well, sharing a love of quilting with my mom. We love quilting, going to quilt shows and retreats together. It’s a wonderful way to share time together. And I complain about my cat getting in my way when I’m trying to sew, but really I love it so much too. I have to stop and give her some love. Love her to bits and bits.
One of my favorite things is also a blessing, my grandson. I love spending time with him and doing things together. I also have another grandson due in about 5 weeks ;-D
Sweet giveaway! Fingers crossed!

My favorite thing is the sewing nippers that belonged to my mother. She gave them to me before she passed away. I believe it was her favorite tool as well .
My favorite thing is my husband. He has been my cheerleader and encourager since the beginning of my quilting. He has built tables for my machines and put pegboard up on my walls. He finds new quilt shops to explore on trips and even keeps an eye out for vintage machines at estate sales and thrift stores. He knows my quilting brings me peace and joy and we are able to bring that to others when we gift a quilt.
My favorite is fabric. And soft yarn 🙂 because you can’t just have one! Happy podcastaversary Kristin!
I love Aurifil thread! It is such a great thread to use for quilting!
3 series I love – that are from England but more modern times. Doc Martin – doctor in fishing village he’s a little quirky. Inspector Lewis – I’ve watched the series twice. & Endeavor – both based on Colin Dexter book characters. I watch many more but these 3 you might enjoy. Not in prewar time tho.
