  • Your quilt is gorgeous, and I’m so impressed you quilted it all yourself. I participated in the QAL, too, and mine is still just a quilt top . Thanks for the recommendation for the Marie Kondo series. I am enjoying it! I am also a huge Louise Penny fan and read her latest as soon as it came out. I really enjoy your podcast. Today I listened to it while quilting a LOT of straight lines.

  • I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your podcasts and blogs. We seem to have similar tastes. After watching your videos for the QAL I hand pieced 2 Christmas stockings from Kim Diels book. FMQ them since I haven’t learned to hand quilt yet. I absolutely love your recommendation of Jenny Byers’s book – what a gold mine this is!! I even began watching Tiding Up and reorganized my Jean drawer this am – it’s a start?. Thank you for your openness and candid sharing…you’re refreshing and inspiring.

  • Thank you for your podcast – I love seeing when there are new episodes. You have one of those voices I just find very calming! I am also a huge fan of Kate Morton and have enjoyed all of her past books – the Forgotten Garden and the Secret Keeper were my favourites but, like you, I really struggled with her most recent book. I never found myself excited to read, and while I started it in September it wasn’t until over Christmas that I made myself find the time to finish it. I knew all the bits and pieces would come together at the end, but I really didn’t start fully enjoying it until the 3/4 mark, when that started happening. Best wishes from Melbourne, Australia!
