Simple. Handmade. Everyday. Podcast Episode 13 Show Notes

In this episode I chat about getting caught up on quilting projects, the reality of “sleeve island” when it comes to sweater knitting, a new book called Cozy Minimalist Home, which has me excited about freshening up my home decor, and the heart wrenching process of dropping your child off at college.

  • I very much enjoy your podcast and wanted to tell you that even Europeans are wearing athletic shoes now. I spend two weeks in Germany each year and I mentioned to my German daughter-in-law that I never wear white Reeboks over there because they scream “American”! She laughed and said that’s crazy. I looked down and she was wearing white athletic shoes! I then paid more attention to people on the commuter trains, etc. and with a million refugees new to Germany, the clothes and shoes were all over the map. The only thing I always notice in Europe is that the majority of adults wear black or dark grey coats and jackets. And, every woman has a big fabric scarf draped several times around her neck.
